Peace Talks

Building Peace through Dialogue - one conversation at a time.

Beginning in 2019, The Boreal Centre offers Peace Talks,  a model for intergroup and intercultural dialogue and reconciliation.

Objective
Peace Talks is a facilitated dialogue process, intended to transform relationships as we identify, discuss, understand and address issues of mutual concern.

Who Participates?
Peace Talks will be of interest to individuals and groups who wish to deepen their understanding of one another, strengthen their relationships, and mutually resolve issues that affect society.
This model is suitable to resolving issues within groups, communities, corporations, educational institutions, governments, religious organizations, and so on.

The Process
Peace Talks synchronizes mediation, consensus building, and intercultural peacebuilding methodologies with practical application. The art of dialogue is enhanced through the sharing of storytelling, music, art, games, and other forms of cultural expression.

Facilitators work with participants to utilize the inherent wisdom and leadership of the group.

The Team
We use an intercultural co-facilitation model.
